Discover Tackle brings passionate bass anglers and independent tackle makers together.
I created Discover Tackle because one of my favorite parts of fishing has always been trying something new — a bait, color, technique, or small brand I haven't used before. There are incredible independent bait makers building products that many anglers may never otherwise find.
Discover Tackle gives anglers a chance to discover those products while giving the people behind them a chance to get their baits into the hands of fishermen who will actually use them.
And for me, it all started with a lifelong love of fishing.
Built From a Love of Bass Fishing
Fishing has been part of my life since I was a kid. Over the years, bass fishing became more than just a hobby — I fell in love with trying new baits, learning new techniques, and finding those hidden-gem lures that most anglers haven't discovered yet.
That passion is what eventually led to Discover Tackle.
Why Discover Tackle Exists
One of my favorite parts of bass fishing has always been discovering something new — a different jig, a new soft plastic, a color I haven't thrown before, or a bait from a company I've never heard of.
At the same time, there are talented independent lure makers all over the country building incredible products that can be hard for anglers to find.
I created Discover Tackle to connect those two worlds: passionate bass anglers looking for their next favorite lure and independent bait makers looking for more anglers to discover what they make.
Helping Great Baits Get Discovered
Some of the best fishing products aren't made by the biggest names in the industry. They're being designed, poured, painted, and tested by smaller bait companies and independent makers who genuinely care about helping anglers catch more fish.
Discover Tackle gives those makers another way to get their products into the hands of bass anglers who are excited to try something new.
And for our members, it means every box is more than just tackle — it's an opportunity to discover new brands, support passionate makers, and find a bait that might earn a permanent spot in their tackle box.
More Than a Monthly Box.
My goal is for Discover Tackle to become more than a monthly box showing up at your door.
I want to build a community where bass anglers can discover new products, share what works, rank their favorite baits, and help great independent tackle companies earn the recognition they deserve.
When a Discover Tackle member finds a new favorite bait and the small company that made it gains a new customer, we've done exactly what we set out to do.
That's what discovery is all about.
